Mighty Manna Bread is an organic, whole grain sprouted bread. We only use fully sprouted grains, as opposed to flour, which we sprout in our bakery for over 3 days. Similar to a whole grain muffin, our Mighty Manna Bread is naturally sweet and hand crafted without salt, yeast, oils, or added sugars. There are many benefits to eating bread made with fully sprouted grains. Sprouted wheat is higher in fiber, free amino acids, and antioxidant activity.
These fully sprouted grains also increase enzyme activity, and decrease starch and anti-nutrients. The starches and proteins are broken down during the sprouting process which creates a bread that is easier to digest and helps to increase nutrient absorption. Sprouting wheat also decreases the gluten protein substantially. While this does not make Mighty Manna Bread gluten free, it does help make the bread easier to digest to those who are mildly sensitive to gluten. Our fully sprouted Mighty Manna Bread is completely flour free, helping you to gain the maximum possible nutritional benefits from the fully sprouted wheat, dried fruits, nuts, seeds, whole grains, and spices that our bread is made from.
